Subsequent to the announcement of Enjin Coin (ENJ) – Samsung partnership, it was revealed that Enjin Coin (ENJ) would be deploying millions of gamers into the blockchain world through a partnership with Unity and a blockchain firm. Coming to reality, Enjin Coin (ENJ) did not just mobilize the gamers but partnered Ethereum foundation in a good will cause focused at making humans live longer.
According to a release issued today, Enjin Coin (ENJ), in partnership with SENS Research Foundation (SRF) and Ethereum foundation, will be launching a charity platform for a worthy fund raising cause to prevent age-related disease.
The platform, which would be supported by 20 million gamers, blockchain tools and sophisticated decentralized technology is designed as a pedestal for donation towards modifying the existing way of researching and treating age-related disease around the world.
While the world has been yenning to preserve human youthful look, the latest development would be a great move in shifting from seeking mythical waters and remedies to a scientific approach that focuses on making human live longer and healthier.
The platform is designed to make donors enjoy themselves on the platform during the fundraising process with a more playful and engaging framework fostered by game. Donors, for their philanthropic acts, are given a “non-fungible tokens” or “NFTs” minted by Enjin Coin (ENJ) in return.
With permanent public record on Ethereum blockchain, the NFTs hands in optimum transparency.
The CEO of Enjin Coin (ENJ), Maxim Blagov, explained the focus of the firm and its team in the blockchain space:
“The Enjin team is committed to using the tremendous power of blockchain to practically benefit and support struggling communities and important scientific research being done globally. By creating a more exciting, playful and incentive-based system for people to donate, we will encourage an ecosystem for active ongoing contributions with strong potential to go viral globally, instead of one-time donations,” Blagov noted
While the NFTs is viable for use as an in-game items to access a range of special bounties, the over 30 games integrated with Ejin is sure a boost for the project.
The cofounder of the SRF, Dr Aubrey de Grey, in his statement said: “Our work to cure crippling age-related diseases relies entirely on active partners and donors like the Ethereum Foundation. Their ongoing support has a real and powerful positive impact on the vital work we’re doing to both improve quality of life and extend healthy human longevity.”
Up till date, there have been records of donation for the cause. Vitalik Buterin previously made $2.4M worth of Ether donation to SRF, and the Executive Director of the Foundation, Aya Miyaguchi, echoed their commitment towards good will cause:
“One of Ethereum Foundation’s goals is to grow our community through support for innovative projects that can have real and positive impact around the world. We recognize the work of projects like Enjin that are building within the thriving Ethereum ecosystem and supporting worthy charitable causes like the SRF,” Miyaguchi stated.
