Alloy Networks, an XRP Ledger dUNL validator and zaphod default hub, has recently hinted the proposal to release a fully autonomous electric relay board that switches on an off using Ripple’s native token, XRP, the network stated today 9th January 2020.
According to the description given to the underway product in the tweet, it will serve as an XRP token indicator that is designed to switch off and on depending on the amount of XRP received.
The report also added that the under-construction product from Allow Networks can be easily configured by every individual that possess it.
Allow Networks share thus, “Coming soon…To a switchboard near you! A fully autonomous electric relay board that switches on and off based on XRP received. Each relay has its own DT, or x-address. Individually configurable.”

In another 5 consecutive tweets, Alloy Networks explained further that,
“There are social and commercial aspects to this project. Keeping this in mind the following was considered:
- Low cost components only – micro-controller based
- Easy installation and replacement
- Rugged casing (WIP)
- Ability to handle high AC loads 5 Energy monitoring, combined with local billing rates/cycles.
- Autonomy for instant use applications (more commercial, such as vending machines)
- Store and forward for social giving. Such as donation by diaspora directly towards funding utilities. There is a lot of work to do in this project, this is only the beginning!”
