The crypto market continues to show signs of an extended bullish run despite Bitcoin dropping below the $8000. There has been a wave of green in the market the last 24 hours with popular altcoins Verge, Stellar and Ethereum making double digits gains at the end of trading.
Verge (XVG) Price
Verge Coin is currently priced nicely at $0.011 per unit with a 17% gain in the last 24 hours. The privacy-based coin experienced a 24hour trade volume of $23 million dollars which placed the coin fifth biggest gainer of the day.
The 47th ranked coin has experienced a recent rise in value in recent weeks and announced today the release of its highly anticipated Lumos V5.0 update. With a market capitalization of $184 million Verge is among one of the top blockchain projects in the market.
If its current levels continue to rise XVG could attain the $0.1 mark before the end of the year.
Stellar Lumen (XLM) price
Stellar Lumen also consolidated on its recent positive run in the market to finish trading $0.0144 for a unit of XLM. Its 24-hour trading volume was $906 million with the coin gaining 14% increase in value which sees it maintain its position as the ninth largest cryptocurrency.
The coin has continued to move steadily in an upward direction and follows closely with an earlier analysis about the coin on Today’s Gazette.
XLM has continued to gain traction with more businesses adopting it as a means of payment.We expect the coin to move past its resistant point of 0.015 in next few days and possibly hit the $0.2 mark in the coming days.
Ethereum (ETH) Price
Ethereum the second largest cryptocurrency was one of the surprise gainers of the day. The popular altcoin gained 12% in value to finish the day at $267 for a unit.
There have been several partnerships announced in the past week and this could be an underlining factor behind its rise. The coin which has continued its plans for better scalability saw a trading volume of $24 million within the last 24 hours. ETH has continued to make steady steps with the coin expected to hit the $300 point at some point in the next few weeks.
