Binance Charity, a cryptocurrency donation platform, has initiated a charity program for the Australia bushfire, committing 1 million USD in cryptocurrency BNB into the project.
Leading the project with that huge amount, Binance says every fund donated afterward d shall be delivered to the territory to reduce the impact of this disaster and help in restoring normalcy back to the region.
Changpeng Zhao, Binance CEO, who spoke on the devastating bushfire, said its charity foundation is helping to reduce the impact of the crisis.
“It is painful to see the bushfires burning across Australia as well as the devastating effects on the ecology and local community. We want to help this urgent crisis,” he said.
“Donating for Australia Bushfires charity program is the most direct and effective approach to make an impact, and we are also calling for the whole crypto community to join us in supporting Australia.”
Binance Futures to Launch Its Fifth Perpetual Contract EOS/USDT
Binance Futures on Monday announced the launch of its 3rd perpetual contract, XRP/USDT. It has also followed the same trend to announce the launch of its fifth perpetual contract, EOS/USDT.
According to the report, trading will open for this pair on 8th January 2010 at 08:00 AM (UTC). Participating users will be able to choose from 1-75x leverage, Binance stated.
Going by the information on the website, Binance will enforce a pricing limit of ±1% on the marked price 30- minutes after the trading commences. This was pre-planned to prevent market manipulation. The exchange also reminded its users about the ongoing Binance Futures Trading Tournament.
Generally, Binance warns its users and customers about the risks that encompass Futures trading, adding that there is every possibility of gaining and losing hard-earned funds significantly.
It further advised willing participants to be conscious of the high level of price movement, which could eventually liquidate all the margin balance in the users’ futures wallet.
