BitTorrent (BTT) started the month bleak with the coin looking to slide out of the top 40 coins based on market cap. However, the coin has embarked on an extraordinary run in the past two weeks which has seen BTT in line to achieve the goal set out by CEO Justin Sun.
Sun who can be eccentric at times had expressed his belief that BTT would be among the 30 top coins before the end of Q2 and it looks like he is right. BTT currently sits 31st on the list and with the current trend could move into the top 30 before the end of May.
Tron has continued to promote its TRC10 token with different developments earmarked for the coin which has given confidence to investors regarding BTT. One of such developments has been BTT airdrops which have been done to good effect boosting the value of the coin.
Sun had announced the launch of BTT wallets and the integration of the coin to Uttorent which had brought about an instant effect on the coin gaining 14% after the announcement.

The latest of this promotion was on Sunday 26 of May when Sun tweeted that a huge development was on the way for BitTorrent which would be announced June 1.
This news created a lot of buzz within the crypto community and BitTorrent rose to up to 16% within the day.
It remains to be seen whether Sun indeed has an announcement that is worthy of the price surge as he did not indicate what the impending update was about.
