Basic attention token (BAT) is one of the top performing coins with the open source platform moving higher in the list of largest coins in recent weeks on the back of the latest rebound in the crypto market.

According to Brave, the new tipping feature is being tested with different options available for tipping users. This feature is thought to be similar to XRP TipBot which rewards content creators.
Brave has begun to test the feature on their Nightly desktop version whereby content creators on creators.brave.com can be tipped by Brave users. Another feature which is called ‘Tip a Tweet’ would allow users to gift other users tweets.

Users would also be able to tip content creators on popular websites such as Youtube and other websites. This tipping feature would be Brave attempt to challenge XRP Tip Bot which has become the leading micropayments blockchain tipping services.
This new feature if implemented effectively would see BAT becoming a major tipping currency by users. Brave utilizes BAT as its native token and this new feature would aloe users utilize the token to tip content creators and publishers accordingly.
The token which has an aim to correctly price user attention within the platform has become one of the most valuable currencies in recent years.
Led by Brendan Eich who is highly respected in the tech industry BAT has developed an open source decentralized platform that has become the goto for advertisers.
