2019 was a transformational year for Cardano Foundation, Nathan Kaiser, the chairman of Cardano Foundation, stated in a video coverage, relating the achievement of the foundation last year and what to expect this year.
Kaiser said in areas of legal affairs, tax, partnerships, administration, Cardano has initiated over 100 control measures and decisions as well as strengthening of the council with new appointments, adding that there are more than over 1 million individuals in the Cardano community across the world.
Kaiser noted that the Cardano team has expanded in 5-fold within a year and the number of ambassadors in 3-folds with the aim of supporting the community.
He said while 2019 was about placing the foundation back on track within a robust framework, 2020 will be a great year for the foundation as they dedicate the year to taking more responsibilities of the Cardano project.
Kaiser highlighted some of the major achievements of the blockchain network in the previous year, listing partnership with COTI and Konfidio as well as joining Messari registry and financing blockchain-based projects.
The Chairman furthered that in 2020, Cardano Foundation will continue to work on adoption in key industries and real-world use cases in vital sectors.
Tamara Haasen, a council member of the foundation, said Cardano Foundation does not only exist to support solutions of Cardano but the entire industry and the revolutionary technology, adding that it is the mission of the foundation to ensure that blockchain reaches its full potential.
Manmeet Singh, the Vice-Chairperson of the foundation, also said in extending the communication effort of Cardano, the foundation will increase its brand awareness to deliver real value, and increase community outreach and education to drive adoption for the blockchain network.
General secretary Hinrich Pfeifer said 2019 was the year of real progress for Cardano. He said the foundation team has grown from less than 5 to more than 20 from 17 different nations, and it would continue to grow its geographical expansion.
While urging lovers of the blockchain network to expect more developments, Pfeifer said: “in 2020, we will have a lot more announcements. Stay tuned!”
