The vice chairperson at Cardano Foundation, Manmeet Singh, will be speaking at the European parliament during the Blockchain for Europe Summit 2020 in Brussels, Belgium on February 5, a statement by the not-for profit foundation claims.
Cardano Foundation, via its Twitter handle, said its official, Manmeet Singh, who is also the CIO of Cardano commercial arm Emurgo would be discussing the impact of blockchain at the European parliament in Brussels.
Singh was included among the 4 speakers who would be discussing the topic: “The Ultimate Impact of Blockchain” at the last session of the program.
Considering the fact that Cardano is a blockchain project designed from a scientific philosophy, Singh, at the event would, be doing great justice to the topic.
Other speakers in this session include the COO & Global Head of Partnerships at Ontology, Gloria Wu and the chairman and co-founder of Bloq, Matthew Roszak, among others.
The host of the session is MEP Eva kaili, S&D, European Parliament, Greece.
Lee Schneider, the general counsel of EOS’ block.one, is to moderate a fireside chat at the event, titled “Stablecoins: Between CBDC and Libra.”
Other top speakers include Jason Kelley, the general manager of Blockchain services at IBM, Frank Ricotta, the founder of BurstIQ, Nik Scharmann, the project director of Economy of Things, Bosch, and others.
The event was structured to serve as a spring for blockchain adoption in Europe. Through the Blockchain for Europe summit, top blockchain industry players at the EU-level aims at assisting decision makers in Europe in their goal to make Blockchain a widely embraced technology within the walls of the continent.
