The CEO of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson has said in a recent interview that his cryptographic project is 2 years ahead of Ethereum, adding that Shelling will be eventually launched despite delay.
In a recently AMA, Charles Hoskinson, the IOHK CEO made it known that the launch of Shelly has been scheduled to hold by mid-September, 2019. Charles also added that the developers in charge will release the next update to its Plutus programming language.
