The creator of Litecoin, Charlie Lee, has recently dropped a bombshell regarding the identity of the mysterious father of cryptocurrency and the inventor of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.
Going by a report, Grin, a new privacy coin built on the MimbleWimble protocol, received an anonymous donation of 50 BTC a few hours ago. The age of the address of the sender convinced Charlie Lee that the donation was from Satoshi.
Charlie Claims the Anonymous Donator Is Satoshi Nakamoto
According to an update hinted by Coinness, there was a conversation on Grin’s official Telegram group in the early hours of 12th November 2019 that called for special attention.
The conversion was between David Burkett, the Grin developer and Charlie Lee, the creator of Litecoin (LTC). In the thread, David announced the receipt of 50 BTC, donated by an anonymous personality.
Afterward, Lee appeared with the claim that the donation was made by the real creator of Bitcoin (BTC), Satoshi Nakamoto. His proof rested on the fact that the blockchain address connected to the said donation was created 9 years ago.

Controversy Surrounding Satoshi Nakamoto’s Identity
The controversy regarding the personality of the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, is still as fresh as ever. His identity remains unknown, but he’s supposedly hovering around the crypto sphere.
Over the years, or better still, since the emergence of Bitcoin, the real identity of its creator has raised more questions than answers. A set of people claim Satoshi is not just a single person, but a group of people, while some others claim otherwise.
Craig Wright, the self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto, and creator of Bitcoin SV (BSV) continues to risk his reputation on the platter of being cheaply recognized as the real Bitcoin (BTC) creator.
This struggle alone has dented his image among the majority of crypto enthusiasts due to several court actions he initiated against whoever opposes his self-induced goal.
John McAfee, the 73-year-old cybersecurity guru and stern cryptocurrency fan, who remains resolute regarding his relatively 2-year-old exorbitant price prediction for Bitcoin, also antagonized the lone claim of Craig Wright.
Back then, McAfee threatened to reveal the real identity of the true Bitcoin creator. The aftermath of this struggle told on Bitcoin SV (BSV), the cryptocurrency created by Wright, as the largest cryptocurrency exchanges such Binance, Shapeshift and Kraken delisted the digital currency in order to tackle Wright’s supposed fake representation.
Despite all this drama that played out back then, the real person behind the veil failed to identify his true identity to clear the air, while the famous anonymity continues to rage within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
