The largest research and consulting firm in China has in a statement evaluated Tron (TRX) blockchain technology as a “low-level public chain with high throughput”.

Known as Information and Industry Development (CCID), the firm which is a centre for China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology claimed that Tron blockchain is a project with high reliability, and it is highly “compatible with the Ethereum smart contract.”

CCID made the declaration in its 10th crypto project ranking assessment index on Tuesday which marks the second update for the year. While a number of 35 crypto projects were evaluated, Tron (TRX) was placed second in the ranking with a total evaluation index of 145.6.

Based on the increasing number of dApps on the blockchain network, CCID said Tron (TRX)’s “chain transactions are more active” than any other.

The ranking also featured the likes of EOS which was debuted at the first position, Ethereum, 3rd, and Bitcoin as the 13th best coin.

While this marked the first time Tron (TRX) would be featuring in the index, the 35 coins were assessed based on basic technology, applicability, and creativity.

Tron (TRX) 3.5 Hardfork Released

After a previous notification on 24th of February that Tron (TRX) blockchain technology would be launching its hardfork to upgrade the network performance, Justin Sun, today in a tweet, announced the unveiling of the Odyssey-v3.5.

CEO Sun noted that the TIP12, TIP16 and TIP17 were implemented along with the upgrade.

While the TIPs stand for Tron (TRX) Improvements Proposal, the upgrade also includes Tron Wallet Proposal (TWP).

Justin Sun had previously declared the introduction of four new features which includes multi-signature features and account management, energy adjustment, performance upgrade and advanced virtual machine safety.

As we await the full implementation of the upgrade, many especially lovers of the cryptographic project are optimistic that the development will undoubtedly hand the blockchain technology more goodness in the space.
