One cryptocurrency placing its mark across the crypto map would be Dash (DASH). Also known as Digital Cash, Dash was created by Evan Duffield on the 18 January 2014. Currently, the price of Dash is US$246.07. It has seen a rise of 4.30% in the past week, the cryptocurrency is gaining momentum in the crypto market.
Originally known as XCoin (XCO), the name was changed in February 2014, to “Darkcoin” and then rebranded as Dash on 25 March 2015.
Unlike other crypto projects, Dash is open source and built upon Bitcoin’s core code. It has additional features such as privacy and quick transactions, has its own blockchain, wallet infrastructure, and a community dedicated to seeing the cryptocurrency remain a Digital Cash.

Exciting Partnerships for Dash
Dash continually pushes for adoption in the real world of currency and it seems that the cryptocurrency’s aim is being achieved. Fidelity Investments now holds 15 per cent stake in Neptune Dash.
Fidelity had earlier on January 22, 2018, taken part in Dash’s convertible debentures which lead to the world’s fourth-largest asset management firm owning 11 per cent of the company. By March 9, 2018, Fidelity had increased its position to 14.93 per cent.”
Dash has also partnered up with Tradecore, a software firm. The company specialises in the production of software for brokerage firms, they also manage financial software for businesses. Those are not the biggest partnership Dash would be having but it will ensure that new solutions between Dash and Tradecore are created as well as integrating into the services of BlockCypher.
This month has been a busy month for Dash as it partnered with CoinFlip on the 16th of July. ConFlip, a leading Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin ATM operator in the US announced that it would be expanding in the Midwest. They announced via tweet that they would be giving away $2,000 worth of Dash Digital Cash every month to 11 lucky customers.
