The beta version of the XRPL-based banking application, XUMM, that enables crypto payments, went live a few days back, and Netherlands-based XRPL developer, Wietse Wind, has begun reporting bugs found on the application.
As related by some of the early adopters of the app, the platform consists of some bugs that prevent it from functioning to full capacity. Wietse said the bug report was dropped by android users.
As related by some of the community members, users of the android version of the application cannot go beyond the intro screen.
Some community members found a bug. On some Android devices people cannot get past the intro screens. Thanks for reporting and sorry for this! Added to the issues & we'll fix it soon π pic.twitter.com/7szQ1pLHPZ

Afterward, Wietse declared that another set of android users have also lodged claims about possible bugs on the application. As related, android users are unable to take screenshot of the XUMM application.
Developer Wietse responded saying the application was deliberately designed in that way. This, according to him, is to prevent sniffing your secrets/account/balance.
βReport from Android users: people can’t take a screenshot of the XUMM app. While annoying when sending a bug report or suggestion, we did this on purpose for security reasons: when your phone is compromised we want to prevent apps from sniffing your secrets/account/balance,β Wietse said.
When the application was about going live, Wietse warned users not to deposit huge funds on the application as it is still in its beta stage.
Early users of the app revealed that their expectation for the application was met, and theyβve begun asking for a date when the full version of the app would go live.
Apple Rejects XRPL-Based XUMM App.
Complaints about possible bugs are only coming from android users of the XRPL-based banking application probably because the application was rejected by Apple.
As revealed by Wietse on March 28, the request to include the application on Appleβs iOS App Store got rejected. The developer clarified that Apple refused the application, asking XRPL to state reasons why the app would need to access userβs camera.
Although, the developer mentioned that they clearly included the reason while submitting. However, he proclaimed that theyβll make further clarifications to Apple on why the application needs to access userβs camera.
So @Apple rejected XUMM… We explained the (mandatory) reason for requesting camera access as "Scan QR Codes".

Today, Wietse excitingly announced that the application has been accepted on the Apple App Store, all thanks to some last-minute corrections made by a developer.
Wietse said it is a great one for the developers that the application is now live on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Wietse said while the application just went live on Apple, more than 71 people are already using it as at the time he made the statement.
