At the expense of the moribund cryptocurrency market that is giving investors headache, Electroneum (ETN), the mobile based mining cryptocurrency, issued out a ground breaking joker that would light up its adoption in 2019 and beyond.
A video interview between the CTO of Electroneum, Barry Last, and Toby Knight, the manager of Solutions Architecture at Amazon Web Services (AWS), disclosed how Electroneum blockchain technology would be operating on AWS.
In the video, it was aired that the Electroneum cryptocurrency mobile back end has been built on AWS to allow millions of people in the developing countries have easy to the global digital economy with easy transfer of ETN and payment of goods and services via smartphones.
The service, according to the video, is targeted at the 48% of persons above age 25 in developing countries who don’t have bank account, thus giving millions of unbanked people around the world financial freedom with cryptocurrency.
Through the partnership, Electroneum has developed a serverless, instant payments system with the AWSAPI Gateway, AWS Lambda, and Amazon DynamoDB to eliminate the hassle of payment with cryptocurrency as well as confirmation time.
To enhance security, the payment system is designed with a feedback loop between Electroneum web servers and AWS WAF (a web application firewall). This automatically ward-off malicious attacks. The web application also made provision to prevent DDoS attacks with Athena, and a gamified approach.
