Microsoft has launched an incentive program, partnering with Enjin gaming blockchain in the process.
The announced partnership has brought Enjin Coin to limelight again, pushing the price of the digital currency higher by 47% within 24 hours.
The incentives, named Azure Heroes, is regarded as a means of earning digital collectibles after an extra performance in the Azure technical community.
The idea is to reward heroes in the Azure community for their unmatched achievements like sample code, demos, coaching and posts that are related to Azure or after they might have completed a challenge.
Those with demonstrable contributions would be given badgers across diverse categories that include innovators, mentorship, content, and leadership.
The issuance and transactions of the badger collectibles are to be issued on the Ethereum blockchain. The badges allow users to hold non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Enjin and Microsoft are linking in a bid to create a blockchain-based recognition program, creating badgers in a diverse, unique, and original but limited design. The designs are tokenized on the Ethereum public blockchain.
According to Microsoft, some of the NFTs that are issued in “seasons” are going to be uneasy to win than others.
Enjin coin is getting returns from the partnership. The news has increased the value of Enjin coin just like the October news of Samsung partnering with the gaming blockchain project.
At press time, Enjin Coin is changing hands at $0.096227 with 46.76% price upsurge in the last 24 hours.
