With the intention to get the grassroots familiar with cryptocurrencies, Grayscale plans to launch national crypto-related advert campaigns.

This event is scheduled to hold in the United States, this week, and will be spearheaded by Grayscale Investments, a crypto asset management industry.

In a tweet posted by the end of last week, Barry Silbert, crypto asset manager at Grayscale Investment reveals that the company plans to organize an advertisement campaign set to hold this week and would be aired on prominent TV channels including MSNBC, FOX Business, CNBC and FOX.

The essence of putting up the advert on the Television commercial according to Barry, is to enlighten the people about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies at large. This idea was however welcomed by most crypto enthusiasts on Twitter.

Although, quite a number of them advised that Grayscale carries out this campaign in a more attractive and educational form in order to catch the attention of the masses since this is not the first time such an idea is been introduced.

So their assertion would ‘hold water’, the crypto users on Twitter brought to table other institutional investment which focuses on crypto asset management, which had earlier been featured on the Television with the Drop Gold campaign.

According to them, this campaign did no enlightenment to the public, rather, it served as a source of entertainment for them.

Grayscale Isn’t First To Advertise Cryptocurrency

Grayscale is not the first crypto firm in New York to educate people on what Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are all about.

Big Apple, Gemini, the Winklevoss brothers‘ led digital asset exchange had also publicized crypto assets to the masses.

According to a report by Marketwatch, on January 10, 2019, a crypto bus was sighted traveling about the city’s street, carrying the title, ‘Crypto Without Chaos’, this was a way of bringing Bitcoin and other crypto coins to the knowledge of the populace.

Also, Gemini went further to publish a full-page advertisement in the New York Times. In spite of all the said campaign, which was not in a way close to Grayscale’s Drop Gold Campaign, the message was vague to the masses.

In other news, it is a great joy to see the crypto-centric firms, come out to enlighten the public about what digital assets entail. This is a way of promoting the crypto space and baptizing more users and enthusiasts into the platform.

Moreover, it’s been over a decade since the appearance of Bitcoin into the market and such reference has never given to it. This is to say, it is well deserved and most especially in recent times when the rates of adoption are high and members of the public prefer to invest in Bitcoin or other alternative cryptocurrencies.
