Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao also known as CZ has been in an altercation with a number of crypto community members, especially the popular crypto news outlet, The Block, after the latter reportedly published news about an alleged police raid and close down of a “nonexistence” Shanghai office of the exchange.
CZ spends quality time on Twitter, sharing general updates about cryptocurrency and answering questions. The hecticness of the task and the challenges he faces in the course of carrying out the responsibility on a daily basis made the Binance CEO recently share how he stays focused with FUD and noise that abound in the cryptocurrency space.
What Played Out Between CZ Binance and The Block
The Block, a widely known cryptocurrency news platform came up with an update published about 2 days ago. The news concerned a raid and close down of Binance exchanges’ office in Shanghai purportedly carried out by Shanghai police.
This news erupted outrage within the cryptocurrency community, resulting in CZ Binance proposing to sue The Block for spreading unfounded news and FUD about the exchange.
The proposal made by CZ went down well with a part of crypto enthusiasts, while some were furious about the suing idea, tagging it a means to display how powerful he is, like the self-acclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto, Craig Wright.
This became further escalated when the popular host of “What Bitcoin Did”, Peter McCormack suddenly came in defense of The Block, taunting CZ’s Binance attitude and calling him several names.
McCormack’s first call-out came via Twitter on 23rd November 2019. He shared a tweet where he seemingly revealed the relationship between the CZ and the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, whom he called a murderer and other names.
He said, “Fuck cz_binance! – Kissing Xi Jinping’s murdering, ethnic cleansing ass – Threatening to sue journalists He is representing the worst aspects of the state. This is antithetical to Bitcoin.”
I thank people who do things that helps our industry. I don't hold grudges on people because of their other views. It's their freedom.
I don't try to solve all the world's problems, I focus on one, adoption of crypto.
Don't be a negative person. Life is much tougher like that.

The above tweet erupted responses from CZ Binance which resulted in fierce altercation between the duos. This scenario revealed the supposed sour relationship already in existence before the recent issue came up.
CZ Shares How He Deals With FUD and Noise
After the issue subsided a bit, the Binance CEO then shared his response to those that asked him how he stays focused with FUD and noise directed at him in the cryptocurrency world.
CZ tagged a tweet where he shared the intention of Binance exchange in entering the second most populous country in the world, India.
He said he stays focused with all the FUD and noise in the cryptocurrency sphere whenever he remembers that he’s part of the team that has contributed to impacting 1.3 billion Indians to gain access to cryptocurrency utilities.
CZ said, “When people ask me how do I stay focused with all the FUD and noise, I tell them when I know I am part of a team that contributed to enabling 1.3 billion more people to access crypto today, all the noise subsides away.”
