There is no doubt that Dash Cryptocurrency is the leading digital currency in the Latin American country, Venezuela as the nation continues to face huge economic disaster and unending inflation. Despite this, a cryptographic project that is well recognize for its potency in Internet of Things (IoT) and automobile industry, IOTA (MIOTA) has been waging battle against the former in the country and beyond.
While IOTA (MIOTA) feels the next province to thrive after Germany is Latin America, a group known as IOTA Latino has declared that it will be hosting the first Latin America and Caribbean IOTA meetup in Valencia City of Venezuela on October 20, 2018.
It is believed that the first meetup will be a stepping stone for other IOTA events in the country, and through that, the Cryptocurrency would be able to gain more adoption in the area.
A founding member of the IOTA Latino organization, Saúl Ameliach explained:
“Therefore, IOTA Latino decided to start its cycle of meetups scheduled for Latin America and the Caribbean in Venezuela, and has chosen the city of Valencia as the appropriate place to start with this stage of events,”
Similarly, Teobaldo Rodríguez who is the President of IOTA Latino said the meetup will feature detailed discussion of IOTA Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), IOTA Tangle.
While Venezuela remains a country open to Cryptocurrency adoption and the meetup will be sensitizing people on the benefits of IOTA (MIOTA) and its technologies which is meant for the third generation, the Cryptocurrency will likely gain mass adoption and integration from companies in the province.
