The first Pizza order with Bitcoin eight years back has made May 22 Bitcoin Pizza Day, a celebrated day in the cryptocurrency community.
As today marks the 8th anniversary of the Bitcoin Pizza Day, a number of crypto projects like Tron (TRX) foundation, Huobi Global among others, have joined the festivity as a cheerleader of the event.
Founder Justin Sun of Tron (TRX), acknowledge the memorable day via his twitter handle with a campaign launched to give out bounty to users of TRX token.
Sun said participants only need to create a unique TRONPizza image to stand a chance in winning TRX reward in the 10,800 TRX Tron Pizza bounty.
According to a release by Tron foundation, participants’ level of creativity and imagination would determine their chances in the contest.
The campaign which will take place between May22 to May26 requires every desired contestant to first retweet the “TRON Pizza Campaign” and then create “TRON Pizza.”
In the creation of the “TRON Pizza” image, Pizza and Tron elements must be included. The created image would then be posted on social media platforms (Twitter and Facebook) with #TRONPizza hashtag.

At the end of the campaign, 15 images would be selected through votes from the foundation team and twitter users, among which 10 lucky winners would be picked and declared on May 30.
The reward which will be distributed within 10 working days from the announcement would see the 1st Place bag 3000TRX, 2nd Place – 2000TRX, 3rd Place – 1000TRX and every winner in the 4th-10th Place will be liable to get 800TRX.

Houbi Global, a Singapore based cryptocurrency exchange platform, yesterday revealed that it would be partying the renowned Bitcoin Pizza Day by giving some traders discount.
Through the campaign, Huobi exchange will offer BTC worth 1.5 million USDT to customers at special rate.
20% of the coin supply on promotion would be traded to some users at 50% off Bitcoin’s price in the first round. In the second round, 80% of the promotional coin would be given out at 12% off price.
