- Samsung Galaxy S10 now supports Bitcoin
- Pundi X Integrates Telegram Chat
After the South Korean tech giant company, Samsung, announced the addition of crypto wallet to its newly launched phone, Galaxy S10 in March, the crypto space and internet in entirety was set ablaze with the joy that they can now use Bitcoin via the Blockchain Keystore application on the phone, but their hope was dashed.
The Samsung Blockchain Wallet, according to reports, then supported Ethereum and ERC20 based tokens, while exempting Bitcoin from the list even though the logo of the leading crypto appeared in the pre-release presentation images.
However, according to a fresh report from ZD Net.com, the tech company has just announced support for six new dapps on its Galaxy S10 mobile phone after previously supporting 4.
Per the report, Pundi X’s X-Wallet which supports Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, NPXS, BNB, XEM, and NPXSXEM is amongst the six new dapps added to the world class smartphone.
The new addition will give users of the mobile phone access to features of each dapp through the phone’s blockchain wallet.
The report added that the six new dapps will be accessible to the mobile phone users in South Korea, and the tech company “plans to expand its dapp offerings on a continuous basis.”
Other dapps added to the smartphone include:
MyCrypto Heroes: a multiplayer blockchain powered game built on Ethereum blockchain.
Berry Peek: a blockchain based social media dapp that rewards users while uploading photos of Berry-picked tags.
Syrup Table: a decentralized application for domestic restaurants that rewards users for review.
The Hunters: a blockchain based location oriented game.
Misetoktok: A dapp that allows users check air quality and pollution levels
While this is seen as a great achievement for cryptocurrency industry, observers are of the opinion that Bitcoin will be handed more adoption through the development, and this could aid the crypto asset price spike in the market.
Pundi X Integrates Telegram Chat
