CoinGate has announced it has enabled native XRP payment option for over 4500 online shops.
According to the platform, the decision was made due to a “very popular demand” by its community. Through the development, XRP enthusiasts can now use the digital asset as a means of payment on more than 4,500 shops online.
With different shops using CoinGate’s gateway, crypto lovers can use XRP to “purchase a VPN, video game or anything else,” CoinGate has indicated.
Through the CoinGate merchant gateway, vendors who accept XRP can instantly get their revenue in Euros, Bitcoin, Ether, or accept to keep it in XRP.
At the moment, people can buy XRP using CoinGate’s supported means. They can buy using SEPA bank transfer, mobile balance, and QQPay through CoinGate dashboard.
In the same line, they can buy XRP using credit/debit card, Neteller or Skrill wallets, just by paying and providing their wallet addresses.
MoneyTap To use xRapid
SBI Holdings has said it is contemplating the use of XRP to solve cross-border problem. The group of companies made this declaration in an end of the year report, saying it intends leveraging XRP in its co-developed MoneyTap app.
The app, process payment instantly and in a low cost manner unlike the use of ATM and other means that are being employed across Japan.
