After Walmart China announced its launch on VeChainThor blockchain, the blockchain world is expecting the next firm that will partner with VeChain.
Yesterday, ENN Energy Holdings Limited, one of China’s largest and most respected natural gas distributor operating around 187 projects cities that extends to over 94.57 million Chinese, has restated it has kickstarted a digital revolution on the VeChainThor blockchain.
With the aim of serving the increasing Chinese market, ENN says it is looking up to the VeChainThor blockchain for a state of the art quality control and supply-chain management.
In a released video, the Deputy General Manager at Domestic Trade Group and ENN Energy Trading Group, Tao Zhou, spoke about the partnership between ENN and VeChain, giving insights on how ENN intends to use the VeChainThor Blockchain to achieve their future desires.
The firm is using VeChain to expedite the digital transformation of the Liquefied Natural Gas industry.
As gas pressure differs and changes during the arrival time and transportation, it is necessary a good record is kept. In this wise, ENN is using the VeChainThor Blockchain coupled with IoT technology to guarantee quality and safety by keeping track of necessary records in an accurate and timely manner.
Normally, in a crude setting, data are recorded by different persons in the supply chain and are communicated through manually, which infers that the time of transferring this data are very long, and are always prone to human errors.
Although, the partnership came around August 2018 at the China International Gas & Heating Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2018, when the two firm signed a cooperation agreement, the video introducing the world to the importance of the cooperation just surfaced.
As revealed in the collaboration, ENN is responsible for system construction and design of LNG-related business cases, while VeChain is to offer the blockchain core technology required for the effective record taking and management.
However, the Shanghai Gas is to look manage entities involved in seeing to the expansion of the solution across the national LNG market.
Note that the technological solution was first ran by Zhoushan LNG Storage and Distribution Centre.
