dLocal, one of Ripple Lab Inc.’s over 300 customers in the cross-border remittance world, has collaborated with Shopify, Canada-based e-commerce firm globally trusted by businesses.
The partnership is to help dLocal’s Small and Medium Business (SMB) merchants seal new business deals.
The collaboration will allow SMB merchants to offer local payments means in nothing less than ninety currencies. The merchants have the avenue to accepts these payments through the processing network offered by dLocals.
Like other Ripple’s over 300 customers, dLocal is also among the top companies pushing for a speedy payment means in the remittance industry.
The partnership and integration with Shopify are a step in the right direction since it will allow merchants to cut the traditional expensive and time-consuming payment networks, as well as have opportunity to use seamless, reduced cost and instant payment strategy.
The collaboration will also give SMB merchants increased business management capabilities.
Rodrigo Sánchez Prandi, dLocal’s VP Product, believes the collaboration will open e-commerce SMB merchants to new businesses while fortifying them with a better means of delivering customer-centered payment ideas.
For now, the integration is live in 19 emerging market countries like Nigeria, Mexico, Turkey, Argentina and some others.
