The euphoria in the crypto industry seems not ending anytime soon. Despite warnings from analysts and traders that a retracement would soon happen, it is generally believed that the pullback would be an entry point for those who want to invest.
While hoping for the next wave of bull run, many are keen on knowing the best crypto to vest their fund in, especially, aside from Bitcoin. This has generated headlines on crypto news platforms and has garnered much attention.
In line with this, a prominent crypto trader who is more focused on altcoins, have highlighted 8 cryptocurrencies with likely potential in the year 2021, however, he does not have an investment or hopes to invest in XRP any time soon.
The crypto trader Aaron Arnold, made the clarification on Twitter, stating that as we expect mammoth growth for the crypto market in the following year, Bitcoin is his number one choice. The crypto trader perhaps has more confidence in Bitcoin.
He mentioned that more than any other cryptocurrency, Bitcoin would get massive adoption in 2021, referencing the statement of PayPal’s chief executive, Daniel Schulman, who said Bitcoin merchant adoption has just started a new journey, and his payment company would let 28 million of its merchants fund their transactions with Bitcoin.
Although Aaron does not have an investment in XRP, the crypto trader still thinks the remittance oriented cryptocurrency has some potential come 2021, ranking XRP as the 6th potential coin to look out for.
He explained that the team behind the cryptocurrency, and its support company Ripple, are working really hard to make XRP Ledger technology a crucial component of the central bank digital currency which many countries are hoping to launch soon.
Aaron said he does not have a personal investment in XRP, and he did not state if he would have interest in the future.
Crypto trader Aaron’s second pick for the year 2021 was Polkadot, averring that the blockchain network is the most popular for staking. He said Polkadot ecosystem growth, in the decentralized finance (DeFi) applications area, bridges for interoperability, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), seems unending.
Ethereum (ETH) was third on the list while yearn.finance (YFI) was forth. Aaron highlighted his optimism for ETH 2.0 which was recently launched, and he as well applauded the governance of YFI as a transparent one.
Cardano had the fifth sit on the raking. The series of developmental upgrades the blockchain network continues to roll out in recent times has thus increased ADA’s visibility and adoption in the market. Furthermore, Aaron expects that Yella, of the two major upgrades Cardano is expecting, would be of great help to the growth of the cryptocurrency.
Synthetix (SNX) and Chainlink (LINK) were the last two cryptocurrencies on the list.
It is important to note that the market bullish run is still at its early stage and would be quite difficult to identify the potential of crypto assets.
