The relationships between Ripple and big firms are beginning yield. Today, Lithuania-based CoinGate, a gateway for blockchain payment, has started running an XRP Ledger Validator.
Above is an outcome of the “chit-chat” between CoinGate’s CEO, Dmitrijus Borisenka, CoinGate’s Head of Product Šarūnas Matulevičius, and Senior Vice President of Ripple Ethan Beard .
The three, who met at the Slush 2018, agreed on undisclosed mutual plan for 2018 and this has started materializing.
CoinGate announced in December: “Today, our CEO Dmitrijus Borisenka together with Head of Product Šarūnas Matulevičius met the SVP of #Ripple @EthanBeard and had a nice chit-chat about our mutual plans for 2019. A pleasure to meet you right here in #Slush #Slush18, Ethan!”
The news that CoinGate is now running an XRP Ledger Validator was first broken by a Ripple’s XRP lover, by the name XRP Research Center based on what he saw on Ripple’s XRP validator page.
