The much praised Ripple (XRP) SWELL 2018 conference which features the 42nd President of the United State as a keynote speaker will kick-start in a couple of hours, and the program seems to be driving more popularity, growth, and laurels for the blockchain company and its token, XRP in the space.
Ahead of the beautiful imaginations expected on stage at Ripple SWELL 2018, the committee behind Ripple’s RippleNet, a network used by most financial institutions to secure frictionless cross border remittance, met to ensure the healthy growth of the network so that it can continue to secure the top position in cross border payment service.
Representatives from MUFG Bank, SBI and Banco Santander, amongst others that formed the committee met at the firm’s headquarters in San Francisco to discuss the rules that govern the global payments network, RippleNet.
While the likes of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, WestPac, Standard Chartered, Siam Commercial Bank and American Express were also among the committee, the SVP of Customer Success at Ripple, Marcus Treacher gave the opening remark at the meeting.
Treacher said the meeting has brought them together to make sure the framework of RippleNet evolves in an optimal way, regarding every member of the committee as a key movers and shakers on the network.
Earlier at the Blockchain Live event, Treacher, while discussing the future of Cryptocurrency in the market, said RippleNet is a cover version of the old SWIFT.
The meeting which gathers the representatives multiple times a year was initiated to secure the growth of RippleNet instant cross-border payments services through operational consistency, optimum speed and legal clarity for all transactions.

Flagged as a specialists on policy, payments and technology, Ripple (XRP) has begun covering the city of San Francisco with its event, SWELL. While Bill Clinton is a keynote speaker, CEO Brad Garlinghouse will be giving the opening remark at the event.
The event which is believe to add more to Ripple especially the adoption of XRP in the FinTech sector, it will be hosting who’s who in the payments and technology industry like Ed Metzger from Banco Santander, Colin Dinn from Siam Commercial Bank, R.J. Pittman, former Chief Product Officer of eBay, and Prajit Nanu from InstaReM amongst others.
