Ripple’s commercial arm Xpring has brought another glory to the crypto ecosystem after a recognition that classifies it among top ideas changing the world to a better place.
Today, April 28, the Fast Company announced winners of the World Changing Ideas Awards 2020, giving honor to businesses, projects and organizations around the globe that are revitalizing world.
Of the 3,000 applications filed – an all-time record, 26 winners were selected while 200 companies/projects made it as finalists.
Ripple’s Xpring however did not make the winner and finalist lists but got featured in the over 500 companies that were also handed honorable mention. Hence, Xpring still deserves to be lauded for the glory.
This marks the second time in a row the Ripple initiative would be getting the honorable mention.
The world’s leading business media brand that is based in America, Fast Company, honored Xpring, among other initiatives, with the recognition due to the role they play in making lives better for people. Ripple’s Xpring grants users swift, effective and seamless payment services with a low transaction fee that makes life easy for people especially in the developing parts of the world.
The winners and finalists were selected after the companies were well vetted by a group of eminent panelists. The winners and finalists were chosen from various areas like activism, education, politics, philanthropy, entrepreneurship and venture capital among others.
The ‘World Changing Ideas Awards’ was established and kick-started in the year 2017, and of the 4 awards issued since then, Ripple Xpring received honorable recognition twice.
