Eccentric software developer behind the innovation of McAfee Antivirus has boldly said Bitcoin is not the future of cryptocurrency.
McAfee, after saying he won’t eat his dick if his $1,000,000 per Bitcoin prediction did not come true, emphasized that Bitcoin has some glitches, making it not to be the future of cryptos.
In the past, McAfee had promoted some digital tokens. This time around, the crypto dad is of the opinion that the privacy-oriented cryptocurrency, Monero, is far better than Bitcoin.
While McAfee stated that he did not hate bitcoin, the developer said people have always known BTC cannot be the crypto of the future.
He said crypto is the key to unlocking our prison, meaning, through cryptocurrencies, users are free from monitoring and from government shackles.
He said: “You asked if I hate Bitcoin now. Of course not. But Bitcoin is not the future of crypto. You have all always known that. You just wanted to ride a wave. Crypto is the key to unlocking our prisons. You’ve been using that key to scratch your asses.”
What is the future of Crypto
When asked what the future of cryptocurrency is, John McAfee responded that the future depends solely on privacy currencies, smart blockchain contracts, distributed, and decentralized exchanges.
McAfee has been a great campaigner for decentralized exchanges. At some point, he had condemned some centralized cryptocurrency exchanges for charging exorbitant prices and for failing to attend to the need of their customers at the right time using KYC and AML compliance to prevent them from having access to their fund.
McAfee recently launched its decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, claiming the exchange cannot be stopped by any government.
