Coinbase Pro has announced the listing of Stellar Lumen (XLM), stating that it is begin accepting transfers of XLM on the platform after 1pm PT on March 13, 2019. Coinbase states that it will begin accepting deposits of XLM for nothing less than 12 hours before it finally enables full trading.
According to a release by Coinbase Pro, inbound transfers require the specification of an XLM memo.
The moment Coinbase Pro has sufficient supply of Stellar Lumen (XLM), it will begin the trading of three pairs of XLM, namely XLM/USD, XLM/EUR, and XLM/BTC.
“Once sufficient supply of XLM is established on the platform, trading on the XLM/USD, XLM/EUR, and XLM/BTC order books will start in phases, beginning with post-only mode and proceeding to full trading should our metrics for a healthy market be met,” Coinbase has said.
Afterward, there will be support for Stellar XLM in Coinbase’s supported jurisdictions, excluding New York State. However, XLM is not available on Coinbase yet.
