Litemint gaming platform has acquired Stellarport Decentralized exchange and service platform, with over 100,000 users who are cut across the world.
Litemint says it aims to connect the cryptocurrency industry with the mobile gaming, which has a market of $68.5 billion with billions of users across the globe.
The acquisition opens Litemint to a series of opportunities, creating diverse abilities to connect the cryptocurrency world with gamers.
Litemint is built on Stellar as an open-ended platform connecting the blockchain-based market with the gaming world.
The platform strengthens gamers to explore new opportunities while also experiencing fun, freedom and ownership via tokenized game assets that are not limited to collectibles and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
With more than 100,000 users, Stellarport is a well-grounded project in the Stellar ecosystem, operating a distinct and widely known Stellar ecosystem. Apps on Litemint also have access to Stellarport chat system.
The acquisition gives Litemint the avenue to serve hundreds of thousands of users.
Ishai Strauss and Frederic Rezeau, who founded the two companies said the acquisition will be the beginning of an unmatched aggregation that is centered on mass acceptance of cryptocurrency, and Stellar especially.
“The interaction between crypto users and gamers creates huge opportunities with tradable assets and brings unmatched dynamism to both platforms,” the founders have said.
