Although VeChain tracks its active developers, the blockchain platform is not concerned about technical coders or developers alone, but also take business developers important due to the role they play, VeChain CEO Sunny has said in a recent interview with the CEO of Binance US.
The CEO said their belief at VeChain is that enterprises consider business developers important, so they play a crucial role in the development of the VeChain ecosystem as they contribute to valuable transactions.
Sunny LU interestingly said Deloitte, for example, has about 20 to 30 developers building applications on the VeChain tool for different enterprises, this does not include DNV GL and PwC who are also partners of Vechain, amidst other enterprise users who build different blockchain applications on the network.
Nevertheless, Lu said technical developers are also provided support services like grants, technical, and marketing to enhance their activities on the VeChain blockchain network.
As regards VeChain partners and connections, the Chinese descent said the early stage of VeChain was never filled with allies like these but he managed to use his influence and connection, being a former CIO of Louis Vuitton.
Lu contacted his former boss who was then the CEO of Givenchy and they later partnered, allowing VeChain to offer traceability and supply management solutions to Givenchy fashion company.
When VeChain first got engaged with H&M in 2018, it proposed a traceability solution to the company for their sweaters, and they sold out very quickly.
In 2020 when VeChain engaged DNV GL in its partnership with H&M, there was a turnaround as the value of H&M business, as well as data collected, were transformed into sustainability contributions.
Transiting from Louis Vuitton into blockchain industry, Sunny said Bitcoin got enchanted by Bitcoin in 2013 after studying it and reading its codes and whitepapers.
However, with the emergence of Ethereum in 2015, from genius Vitalik Buterin, which allowed for conducting virtual machines in smart contracts, Sunny Lu said his mind was opened to the fact that Blockchain can describe more complicated business activities.
The VeChain CEO said he made his first buck of money from Bitcoin activities like mining and trading.
Meanwhile, Binance has just announced the availability of VeChain cryptocurrency for staking on its platform, and rewards would be distributed at the end of the months.
