What is ALS?
As seen today, ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease hampering nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain.
Through the disease, people suffering from ALS cannot move or speak and find it hard to breathe. The disease is always terminal, especially within 2-5years of diagnosis.
Tron will be using its distributed ledger technology to monitor the location of the disbursed donation and plans to release every information after the donation is completed.
Why is Tron (TRX) Joining VoiceYourLove Campaign?
According to Tron, the decision to join the campaign was due to the fact that Frank Bailinson, director of product management at BitTorrent, lost his sister who also suffered from the ailment.
“The loss of my sister drove me to do something meaningful in the fight against ALS,” says Frank Bailinson.
Meanwhile, after Binance donation, the foundation calls on interested participants to also donate on Binance Charity, a blockchain-powered donation platform that accepts BTC, ETH, and BNB.
