Sun is known for his outlandish comments and hyping developments within the Tron network and this appears to be similar.
MPC Torch Project to use zk-SNARKS based protocol
According to the tweets the MPC Torch project will utilize zk-SNARKS-based anonymity as its key protocol. This sophisticated zero-knowledge proof scheme is a secure protocol that safeguards people’s privacy.
This technology has been previously utilized in numerous scaling solutions for the Ethereum (ETH) network. Tron has continued to make developments in this technology as it seems to improve the security and credibility of its blockchain.
It is understood that the Mainnet Multi-Party Computation (MPC) Torch Project is the precursor before Tron releases its highly anticipated privacy coin.
TRONZ Foundation, the body behind the project’s technical developments had previously revealed that it was undergoing the largest privacy protocol in history.
According to some analysts, if the project is successful, Tron would easily reach the speed of Visa payment system.
Tron has continued to push developments within the crypto space
Tron has continued to make major gains within the crypto space with key partnerships and announcements. Earlier in the year leading adult site, Pornhub revealed that it had adopted USDT-TRON as a payment option on its platform.
This came as the adult website is looking towards crypto payments after a lockdown with Paypal saw them unable to pay models in November.
In addition, Tron ecosystem has continued to grow with the platform surpassing EOS in the Dapps sector in January. Tron now has 699 Dapps on its platform which is one more than EOS.
