Tron (TRX) creator and BitTorrent (BTT) CEO Justin Sun has offered Software engineer and a former employee at BitTorrent job after the latter lost his life savings in Quadriga CX imbroglio.
Tong Zhou, who once worked at BitTorrent as Software engineer, lost his life savings in Quadriga CX issue resulting from the death of the exchange’s founder.
The sudden death of the founder left around C$190 million in digital currencies protected by password known to the founder alone irretrievable.
Justin Sun said: “Tong Zhou was an ex-BitTorrent employee and I am saddened by the news of the loss of his life savings in Quadriga CX’s digital EX. I sympathize with his predicament and would like to hereby extend an offer to him to once again return to #BitTorrent.”

Tong Zou, 30, who had worked in California for seven years, tried to save some funds on transfer fees when he decided to move to Vancouver. He lost around C$560,000 ($422,000) due to the imbroglio.
“It’s all my savings, so I’m just living on what little I have left and trying to start over,” Zou told Bloomberg in a phone conversation.
“It pretty much took everything away from me.”
