The year 2020’s curtain is drawing with a piece of big news for VeChain Foundation and its followers around the world. Enterprise solution offering blockchain technology VeChain has just made a huge name and historical footprint under an organization certified by the national accreditation body of the Federal Republic of Germany, a report has said.

The traceability and transparency solution offered by VeChain is paying ways for the blockchain technology around the world. VeChain is now the first 5-Star-Rated Blockchain company in the world, renowned European certification body under the German government has said.

According to a release issued by VeChain Foundation on December 22, TÜV Saarland handed VeChain the world’s first 5-Star-Rated Blockchain Service Certificate. The certification depicts the potency and proactiveness of the blockchain technology, especially within the enterprise-level blockchain space.

TÜV Saarland is a Germany-based certification body accredited by the national accreditation body for the Federal Republic of Germany, DAkkS, in accordance with ISO 17021 and ISO 17065. Another important piece of information about TÜV Saarland is that the organization is among the world’s 40 bodies that have the ability to issue IATF 16949 automotive standard.

It should be noted that TÜV Saarland is recognized around the world for its certification standard, even within the blockchain industry. The Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) in China has also authorized the use of TÜV Saarland’s blockchain certification model.

Having evaluated VeChain under the TÜV Saarland standard, the organization found VeChain worthy of the certification.

TÜV Saarland appraised VeChain by conducting a strict audit on the services offered by VeChain, the reliability, scalability, and practicability of the technology offered by the blockchain. VeChain proved its potency by excelling in the auditing, leveling up with the standards.

The new development is seen as a leapfrog for VeChain around the world, especially in the supply chain industry. While VeChain traceability solution made great names across the world since the Coronavirus began as many companies now depend on its solution in guarding against the deadly virus.

No doubt, the certification places VeChain technology at the mantle in the enterprise and business world.

The certification will increase people’s trust in VeChain, especially in industries where they are hesitant about adopting blockchain technology for enterprise activities. Hence, it is expected that the latest development would hand the blockchain technology more adoption.

The recognition and trust also have the ability to make VeChain flourish and open it to more partnerships within and outside the blockchain industry.

The Managing Director of TÜV Saarland, Thorsten Greiner, said the potential VeChain demonstrats made the body accredit it with the five-star service certification, adding that VeChain has the ability “to bridge more large-scale enterprise digital systems or government projects.”

CEO Sunny Lu of VeChain also acknowledged the certification as an important development for the growth of the foundation. Lu said VeChain blockchain services would be of great help to decision-makers hoping to recover from the impact of COVID-19.
