The VeChain Foundation has announced that Vulcan, a beta version of its digital marketplace VeriArti, has been scheduled to officially go live on the 6th of August 2020. The launching of the digital marketplace was confirmed in an official release on Medium.com.
VeriArti is a digital Marketplace based on VeChainThor that allows artists to tokenize their work and as well create unique immutable tokens known as VRA NFT-181. However, Vulcan is a hub for all DApps on the VeChain ecosystem. It was created as a Marketplace to enable DApps creators to create their own tokens without having to pay transaction fees or any form of fund.
Tokens created by the creators can be traded on VeriArti and can also be used as proof that a particular work belongs to an author.
The Vulcan team explained via the release that all prospective developers are welcome to build on the platform and that API keys have been specifically developed to differentiate tokens between each DApps. It was further stated that the Vulcan marketplace will be open to the public by 2 pm GMT on the 6th of August, 2020.
Furthermore, it is important to mention that ten NFTs have been carefully chosen to ensure the smooth launching of the Vulcan Marketplace BETA version; few among the NFTs are from creative artists representing VeChainThor on social media platforms like Twitter while others were from the much-desired Lil Sunny Lead Baby card from Block Babies.
Nevertheless, the Vulcan Beta version will henceforth include four artists which include Darren Smith, Block Babies, CypherPunk NFT, and Dr. H Quinzel. In light of this, the CEO of Vulcan Forged and VeriArti pointed out that the Vulcan Marketplace has begun testing since the 10th of July and is set to establish a groundbreaking achievement among ecosystems based on the VeChainThor Blockchain.
The CEO outlined that through Vulcan, users can trade and transfer any NFT on the VeChainThor blockchain, the platform flexibility allows users to transfer or sell any VRA token from the VeChainThor wallet or their web wallet.
