The price of VeChain (VET) drastically increased after an announcement that a team from Eidos, Fable and Microsoft are working on reviving a best-selling game book by employing VeChain blockchain technology.
A release by Fabled Land LTD indicated that the game book series is now going on the blockchain technology.
‘The Way of the Tiger’, best selling classic books of the 1980s, proudly written by award-winning author Jamie Thomson and Mark Smith, is to go on the VeChain blockchain.
The game book is to be renamed “Arena of Death” and will pit player against player in fantasy card battles, with the same characters, skills, and magic of the original series,” the release has indicated.
The author, Jamie Thomson, made the decision to put the book on the VeChain blockchain because “It felt like the right time”. Now, the book is going to be relaunched in a computer game format.
‘The Way of the Tiger’ will launch on VeChain Thor purposely, because of the blockchain’s ability to scale, as well as create cards and items without dealing with cryptocurrency.
“Jamie is referring to fee delegation utilised by VeChain which removes the need for crypto currency in order to create cards,” the statement reads.
While every promotional detail launches this December the gamebook is hoping to be a major contender for the gaming world in 2020.
The news has pushed the price of VeChain by 20.30% in the last 24 hours, making VET stay around $0.007624, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
VeChain has been sealing partnerships recently. VeChain Toolchain is now powering some Chase Shiel’s shoes.
