Vechain (VET): The Power of a Story

The company went into collaboration with VeChain (VET) with the purpose of creating a decentralized application (DApp) for the provision of assurance and certification in products. The DApp, known as “My Story” uses DNV GL’s expertise in data collection and verification services to provide a blockchain-based digital assurance solution.
At the launch, the Italian wine industry was the first to buy the idea. Soon after this, the top wine producers, Ruffino, Michele Chiarlo, Torrevento, and Ricci Curbastro were among the first to collaborate VeChain (VET) and DNV GL.

More Tales for My Story
The DApp (My Story) serves as a traceability tool that lets customers trace the origin of products. For instance, there are QR codes on wine bottles. By scanning the codes, consumers can trace the manufacturing process of such wines. The essence is to discover the history of each bottle of wine; from grape to the finished product.
Massive Adoptions
Regardless of the fact that My Story was welcomed on the launch, three (3) wine producers in Italy took it upon themselves to set the DApp in motion. By this foregoing, consumers will have in-depth access to the authenticity, ingredients, and origin of wines.
