The next Verge (XVG) halving is just around the corner with less than 38 days to the event. Expectations of enthusiasts are rife for the event, considering the fact that the privacy-oriented cryptocurrency is making strides in recent times.
In a fresh development, Verge announced a partnership deal with MobiePay, a payment provider, to enhance better user experience. The cryptocurrency noted that the collaboration is designed to help bring users closer to a key element of the Verge Currency vision.
MobiePay payment ecosystem employs a reward scheme to honour users and it is designed to empower people in the cryptocurrency industry. Via the partnership, users of XVG token will now have optimum control over their assets when using Vergecurrency for settlement of transactions.
MobiePay will henceforth allow users of XVG currency have control over the information revealed about their transaction, exactly what Verge stands for.
The collaboration, according to Verge, is like a square egg in a square hole, as both parties will strive more through the deal.
The CEO of MobiePay, Brandon Burgason, said his company is dedicated to promote the vision of Verge and as well give users a more flexible way of using Verge (XVG). Burgason added that the two companies will work together successfully and add much value to each other.
About the collaboration, the marketing strategist at Verge, Alex, said MobiePay partnership came in handy and would help the cryptocurrency in spreading mass adoption.
Alex said MobiePay rewards evangelists of the cryptocurrency for signing up businesses, and gives then encouragement bonuses for signing up on its platform. This, aside giving user control over their assets, is another way MobiePay enhances Verge’s vision of digital transactions for everyday life, Alex said.
In partnership with South Korea-based payment provider, MeconCash, Verge (XVG) cryptocurrency is now receivable via thirteen thousand ATMs in the country.
Verge Halving in Less Than 38 Days
In less than 28 days, Verge community will be having a big event. The next Verge halving is slated to take place on Sun, 19 July, 2020 at 17:43. After the halving, the block reward given to miners per block will reduce from 400 to 200.
While it takes about 30 second to mine a block, the next halving will take place at 4,200,000 block. However, Verge has a total block of about 4,124,000.
