There seems to be another problem for Bitcoin Cash. Yesterday 26th August, 2019, CoinMall, a prominent products marketplace accepting cryptocurrency decided to remove Bitcoin Cash and ZCash, citing confusion and low usage as the reasons.
Speaking on the update, the CEO of CoinMall, Yousef said the decision was made because there were 0% payment in Zcash and less than 1% in Bcash since the platform was launched.
Also, Yousef said the two digital currencies have been causing confusion for both the buyers and sellers, hammering that sellers are most time confused to the extent that they just adopt every available payment options available, while buyers also get confused during checkout, a problem that results in less sales on the platform.
He concluded that having a limited number of payment option is best, emphasizing that Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum are available as payment option on the platform.
The platform, in an abrupt update, said the two cryptocurrencies are not going to be accepted any longer, claiming it has just added 2 percent fee for cryptocurrency payments.
CoinMall however in the update, stated that there will be no fees for payments made with PayPal or Stripe, No fees are taken for Stripe or PayPal payments.
CoinMall is bridging the gap in user-to-user commerce of virtual products. The platform kickstarted after seeing that there is marketplace offering easy means of selling virtual products on the internet.
The platform offers product listing on the internet and does auto awareness of products to those in need. The platform references itself as a “hybrid between Amazon and Shopify”.
Meanwhile, the development may appear as an impediment on the image of Bitcoin Cash, however, ZeuxApp announced few days back that it is integrating the digital currency.
The platform added Bitcoin Cash to the lists of other cryptocurrencies integrated on the platform.
