IOST blockchain foundation made headlines especially in Switzerland after partnering with the blockchain center at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. The collaboration is dedicated to creating more educational and job opportunities within the blockchain industry in the country, a report has said.
Both Professor Claudio Tessone (Ph.D.), the co-founder of the UZH Blockchain Center, and Terrence Wang, the CTO of IOST foundation, signed the MoU into record, and the agreement was based on three things which include:
- IOST Public Chain Platform Data Analysis Cooperation
- Coordination between UZH Blockchain Center and Japanese universities
- Grants to students participating in the UZH Blockchain Center Summer School Program
Being the home of Academia’s most diverse discipline, the blockchain center said it would make blockchain knowledge, through the partnership, available to students in the institution’s faculty of finance, law, computer science engineering and complex science.
Terrence, a research assistant at Princeton University would be at the Blockchain Summer School Program as a guest speaker to enlighten attendees on the benefits of blockchain technology.
The summer school, hosted by the UZH blockchain center, is scheduled to take place between 5 – 24 July 2020.
