It could be because of its fast speed and cheap transaction cost, Ripple’s XRP is now the most popular digital currency in California, and over $3 million have been transferred from the location to over four destinations across the globe. This shows XRP is ahead of Bitcoin (BTC) in the state.
It is possible that XRP enthusiasts are involved in philanthropic activities because a portion of the transfers from California landed in Venezuela.
The highest receiver of funds from California is Colorado in the U.S., followed by Brazil Venezuela and Florida, USA.
In Kentucky as well, XRP is the most used digital currency, and the top destination from that region is California. In South Carolina, XRP topped the list of the most used digital asset, with residents of the location transferring most of their funds to California. The same holds for IOWA. However, the residents of that location transferred their funds to Washington DC.
The vital pieces of information came from the newly unveiled Uphold’s Transparency portal, one of the largest digital payment platform offering secure and instant financial services with over 30 currencies in more than 184 countries.
Uphold’s Transparency page is the first of its kind in the cryptocurrency space. While calling for others to emulate what could be seen as “industry’s standard”, observers have said the newly unveiled page shows the platform is transparent enough and setting a new standard of consumer protection and financial services accountability.
