Coil, a blogging monetization platform proudly supported by Ripple, is being leveraged by Cinnamon for its newly announced boosting program.
In an update to the community, Cinnamon says it has kick-started a rewarding package of $4,000 to creators that are most active in the previous month and also provided their subscribers with the best content and also show ethics that are in line with and enhance the Cinnamon ecosystem.
Cinnamon aims at compensating its exceptional creators who also have a decent fan base. The program is evolving, this indicates that the fund paid out may change with time.
Coil is a product by a formal Ripple Software Engineer. In 2019, the web monetization platform announced support for XRP through XRP Ledger wallet provider GateHub.
Users of the platform, according to a released publication, can now make use of GateHub to receive funds and convert them to US Dollars, Euro, Ethereum, and Bitcoin.
Coil is designed with Interledger Protocol and co-owned by Stefan Thomas who was Ripple’s former chief technology officer.
In August, Ripple offered a 1 billion XRP grant to Coil, thereby participating in an investment round geared towards improving the Coil ecosystem.
Coil, to increase its reach, partnered with Mozilla and Creative Commons to create a $100 million grant program for content developers who desires a decentralized web monetization innovation. The scheme is granting up to $100,000 to creators and developers supporting web monetization.
